KOS Wings, Battalions, Squadrons, and Regiments

1 Auldran Wing: Home of 1, 2, 3, and 4 Auldran Squadrons. Operating on fighters such as the F7C-M, F7C, Sabre, Buccaneer, Mustang, Scorpius, Aurora LN, and Gladius, Auldran Wing provides general-purpose, multi-role, and tactical fighter support where it is needed.

Auldran Wing is comprised of the following Squadrons:

1 "Tengu" Tactical Fighter Squadron.
-
Provides tactical fighter capability for KOS operations and requirements.​​ Specializing in light to medium fighters such as the Arrow, Sabre, Hornet Series, Gladius, Scorpius, and etc, members of Tengu Squadron represent the fangs of the KOS, delivering fast and lethal strikes on the enemy. Both Tengu and Oni Squadrons work closely together with symbiotic tactical efficiency in order to complete the mission.

2 "Oni" Tactical Fighter Squadron.

Provides tactical fighter capability for KOS operations and requirements.​ Akin to Tengu Squadron, but specializing in heavy fighters and large anti-fighter ships such as the Ares Ion/Inferno, Constellation Andromeda, Hammerhead, Vanguard Warden, F8A/C, RSI Perseus, and etc, members of Oni Squadron represent the blades of the KOS, delivering equally lethal and devastating strikes to the enemy. Both Tengu and Oni Squadrons work closely together with symbiotic tactical efficiency in order to complete the mission.

3 "Argus" Tactical Fighter Operational Training Squadron.

Provides and oversees training exercises for Auldran Wing members, enabling combat proficiency in tactical fighter capabilities.

2 Bravo Wing: The mission of Bravo Wing and its 3 squadrons is to provide strategic bomber support for KOS operations and its allies. Bravo Wing currently operates on the Gladiator, Retaliator, Eclipse, and Freelancer MIS among others in its fleet.

Bravo Wing is comprised of the following squadrons:

5 "Fenrir" Strategic Bomber Squadron.

Provides strategic bomber capability for KOS operations and requirements. Members of Fenrir Squadron represent the fists of the KOS, delivering crippling blows to enemy forces and infrastructure. Utilizing light attack bombers such as the A1 Spirit, Eclipse, Gladiator, and Harbinger, 5 Squadron specializes in delivering fast and precise bombardment packages in support of ground combat operations, in addition to its swift yet lethal strike packages in the skies of enemy contested space.

6 "Draugr" Strategic Bomber Squadron.

Provides strategic bomber capability for KOS operations and requirements. Similar to Fenrir Squadron, Draugr Squadron represents the 2nd fist of the KOS, delivering the additional and much needed strike capability that the KOS requires to maintain superiority over its adversaries and protect its allies. Utilizing heavy bombers such as the A2 Hercules, Retaliator Bomber, Polaris, Perseus, and Nautilus, 6 Squadron specializes in delivering the shock and awe in ultimate deterrence against enemy strongholds and capital vessels, while also providing minelayer defensive screening capabilities.

7 "Jötunn" Strategic Bomber Operational Training Squadron.

Provides and oversees training exercises for Bravo Wing members, enabling combat proficiency in strategic bombing and Close Air Support (CAS) capabilities.

8 "Brokkr" Engineering Detachment.

3 Chimera Wing: 1, 2, 3, and 4 Chimera Squadrons are the KOS primary Long-Range Exploration (LRE) and Reconnaissance Wing. Its tactical advantage provides the KOS high command with accurate data and oversight of the many operations that the PMC conducts. The wing mainly operates on the F7C-R, F7C-S, Herald, 315P, Terrapin, Endeavor Long Range Reconnaissance and Science ship, Carrack, and more.

Chimera Wing is comprised of the following squadrons:

9 "Bahamut" Reconnaissance Squadron.

Provides long-range reconnaissance capability to KOS operations and requirements. A majority of the scientific endeavors will be conducted within the capacity of this squadron.​

10 "Odin" Intelligence Squadron.
-
Provides strategic intelligence capability to KOS operations and requirements. Members of Odin Squadron will be required to operate in both space and ground environments for long periods of time in order to complete mission objectives. They operate behind enemy lines to gather vital intelligence without alerting the enemy of their presence.

11 "Titan" Reconnaissance Operational Training Squadron.

Provides and oversees training exercises for Chimera Wing members, enabling trade proficiency in reconnaissance and intelligence gathering.​​

12 "Alexander" Engineering Squadron.
-
The KOS's main shipboard engineering squadron. Provides an all-around engineering service to all ship-bourne units in the KOS. For further specialization, 12 Squadron provides personnel to its 3 detachments in Auldran, Bravo, and Delta Wing to allow more immediate and accessible engineering services specific to spacecraft operated within each wing - 4 "Camel" Detachment, 8 "Brokkr" Detachment, and 16 "Weaver" Detachment fall under the authority of 12 "Alexander" Squadron.

4 Delta Wing: Delta Wing provides Logistic Support to the KOS PMC. Being the primary transport and supply wing, it is outfitted with some of the largest ships in the fleet. You can expect to spot hulking mammoths such as the Hull-E and Hull-D being used frequently to supply strategic and operational requirements of the KOS.

13 "Albatross" Transport Squadron.

Provide logistical support to KOS operations and requirements. Albatross squadrons' daily operations consist of frequent use of many large and capital transport vessels, providing transport and trade capabilities to the KOS.​​

14 "Vulture" Transport Escort Squadron.
-
Provide in-house fighter support to ongoing transport and trading operations. Members of Vulture Squadron ​specialize in delivering tactical fighter capability within close vicinity of large capital vessels. As the name of the squadron suggests, pilots of Vulture Squadron wait for the enemy to attack the mammoths of the herd, only to be preyed upon as the herd continues its journey.

15 "Robin" Transport Operational Training Squadron.

Provides and oversees training exercises for Delta Wing members, enabling trade proficiency in transport, trading, and transport escort.|

16 "Weaver" Engineering Detachment.

A detachment of 12 Alexander Squadron - providing specialized engineering support for Delta Wing for onboard engineering, hull management, and weapons maintenance.​​​

5 Eagle Wing: Outfitted with industrial class vessels such as the Cutlass Red, Endeavor Hospital Ship, Apollo Triage, Pioneer, Argo SRV, Orion, Mole, Reclaimer, and more, Eagle Wing provides all-around industrial and emergency support to KOS members and its allies when needed.

17 "Fae" Search and Rescue Squadron.
-
Provide medical and emergency search and rescue capabilities to the KOS and its members and allies. Operating with vessels such as the Cutlass Red, Apollo Triage and Medivac, and the Hope class Endeavor Hospital Ship, members of Fae Squadron provide much-needed medical support wherever and whenever it is needed. ​

18 "Orc" Salvage and Retrieval Squadron.
-
Provide salvage and material retrieval capabilities for KOS operations and requirements. Orc Squadron members will be often seen operating salvage vessels such as the Aegis Reclaimer and Drake Vulture, sweeping up after battlefields and derelicts of high interest. Members of Orc Squadron provide a valuable service in providing material for KOS repair and manufacturing projects and as such, simultaneously operate ground-based infrastructure to support higher quality products.

19 "Dwarf" Industrial Operations Squadron.

Providing mining, mineral/fuel refining, and fleet refueling capabilities for KOS operations and requirements. Dwarf Squadron pilots are a crucial necessity for ongoing KOS efforts in supplying much-needed material and fuel, using vessels such as the Orion, Prospector, Mole, Starfarer, and the Raft.​ 19 Squadron also operates ground-based refining operations to support the in-house production of high-quality fuel and materials.

20 "Dryad" Agriculture Squadron.
-
Provides the KOS and its members with much-needed sustenance in both cultivating plants and livestock. 20 Squadron also conducts research in food sciences, making the agriculture process more refined and efficient.

21 "Gnome" Engineering, Science, and Construction Squadron
-
Provide service and repair support, science-based research capabilities, as well as construction and production capabilities to KOS operations and requirements. Housing vessels such as the Crucible and Vulcan, Gnome Squadron pilots provide service and repair capabilities at the magnitude of the entire KOS fleet; supporting small to capital-sized ships. Gnome Squadron also specializes in construction using vehicles and vessels such as the Pioneer. Further expanding its operational functions, 21 Squadron also utilizes vessels such as the Endeavor to provide research and development capabilities to the KOS. On the ground, this unit maintains several industrial operations both within and outside the bounds of the KOS HQ in providing weapons, munitions, armour, vehicles, ships, etc.

1 Black Watch Battalion: The Black Watch Battalion (BWB) is the org's main infantry force and provides tactical boots on the ground, and hull support. Combat arms proficiency is a key warfighting principle of the BWB, enabling the KOS to overcome and maintain strategic locations.

The Black Watch Battalion is comprised of the following Regiments:

1 "Akuma" Tactical Operations Regiment (TOR)
-
The Akuma Regiment specializes in a variety of skills including, ship boarding/assault/sabotage, planetary and zero-gravity warfare, humanitarian aid, casualty evacuation, and when needed, search and rescue. 1 Regiment also acts as the primary infantry force of the KOS in supporting base security to all KOS bases and stations.

2 "Kaijin" Expeditionary Regiment (ER)
-
Mainly specializing in infiltration among other operations, the Kaijin Regiment serves as the primary Force Recon of the KOS. Soldiers of 2 Regiment can expect to be out on missions for long periods of time in order to gather information, neutralize priority targets, and insert themselves into operational areas prior to a larger assault in order to destabilize the objective or soften defenses and key infrastructure. They deploy in small teams to lower their footprint and embed themselves deep within the enemy territory to maximize efficiency.

3 "Ryuu" Tactical Aviation Regiment (TAR)

Ryuu Regiment serves as the main air mobility unit of the BWB. Specializing in operating ships such as the Valkyrie, Prowler, Legionnaire, and the MIS, the pilots, and operatives of 3 Regiment provide in-house air mobility and CAS to BWB operations and requirements. Members of the Ryuu Regiment also double up as combat arms in ground combat ops.

Elite Guard Squadron: The Elite Guard Squadron (EGS) serves the KOS Special Forces Fleet Division by providing SPECOPS capabilities. It also serves ground operations by providing tactical support of firepower, strategic assaults, casualty evacuation, and supports search and rescue operations when required. The EGS is the only unit to be granted operational freedom in the most hazardous environments under their own jurisdiction. Hand-picked by KOS High Command Officers, the EGS is the best of the best. Operatives are expected and required to be both skilled in piloting and combat arms. Each and every Knight of the PMC, Officer or NCM, hold the EGS above all else as they represent the best the KOS has to offer.
